I spent my summers growing up

split between two grandmothers

first half was spent with my dad's mother

and the second half was spent with my mom's mother

today I went to visit both,

this video shows were my mom grew up, and where I spent my summers

you probably can't really see them but those tiny little black things in the back are cows

my grandmother has about 20 of them, she also has/had horses, pigs, and a few goats..

I want to have the same thing when I grow up(read mature up)

I love the idea of having animals around, growing your own food

living off the grid.....sorta

p.s I can't even begin to tell you just how many cow patty's,horse poop, goat poop I stepped in as a child....lol..its crazy to think that we would hold contest to see who could find the biggest one..yes its sick but we had to keep ourselves entertained
